Our FA Cup style knockout competition (formerly the Presidents Cup).
2026 Aberdeen Shield Initial Phase
The top sixteen (or top fifteen plus the defending TA Shield Champion) from the 2025 Championship go into the initial phase with the Championship winner playing the 16th place, the runner up playing the 15th place and so on. Individual players handicaps will be as at the start of the season and there will be no WHS adjustment for this competition.
Once the initial phase is completed the remaining players play the quarter finals and then the semi finals. Playing handicaps will be your individual WWGS H/C's as at the completion of each round (with no WHS adjustment)
