Wearside Wanderers Golf Society
Welcome to our new look website.
The Wearside Wanderers Golf Society was formed in 2002 by four lads as an excuse to get away for a few rounds of golf and to socialise. Since those fledgling days we have grown into a diverse group with 24 full members this year.
The links in the blue band above will take you to five individual sections. Once inside each section use the links in the white boxes to the left to navigate to the individual pages within each section.-
1) The Basics section - Including our Society constitution, basic rules, handicap and scoring system, membership list and committee structure.
2) The Competition section - Including the latest results, match reports, upcoming fixtures and the Tim Aberdeen Shield results.
3) The Gallery section - A collection of photographs taken this season and over the past 17 years.
4) The History section - Including our tribute to Tim Aberdeen, the Society Roll of Honour, a potted history of our society and previous season reviews.
5) The Other Information section - Includes basic details of the next three rounds along with course guides (where available) or a course overview (where not). If you have any suggestions for anything else please let me know. It also includes details of our annual end of season trip to Portugal.

June 2020 - Revised fixture list revealed due to COVID19 pandemic.
May 2020 - Season start delayed due to COVID19 pandemic. We hope to be able to start the season in June or July if possible.
March 2018 - WhatsApp messaging group created for match updates and friendly banter.
February 2017 - Our new look and hopefully more user friendly website unveiled. Let me know your thoughts and criticisms.
